Research

As a group the Network believes in the importance of evidence-based practice for our profession. We strive to help facilitate the reading of research as well as the creation of new research projects. For our members we provide a reading list of research and information related to the LGBTQIA+ community.

If you are looking to recruit LGBTQIA+ or ally professions for your research, connect with us! We are happy to send out emails to our membership requesting participation or to list your research project below. We do not provide our email list to anyone, but we will contact our members for you. Current research projects

The Lonely Voice: A call for LGBTQIA+ identity integration, inclusivity and advocacy to diversify the workforce within the OT profession

  • A study exploring the experiences of LGBTQIA+ students, faculty and practitioners in the field of Occupational Therapy.
